Shiobara's Onsen sea bream of Shoushiobara
Shiohara Onsen, which runs along the Hokigawa River, is a hot spring with a long history, discovered in the year of the Daido period (806).

The Shiobara Kaido (National Route 400) was opened in 1884, and literary Mokichi Saito such as Soseki Natsume, Junichiro Tanizaki, Mokichi Saito visited, and the Konjiki Yasha of the Koyo Ozaki was born here.
The beauty of Shiohara Onsen was introduced to the whole country by the writer who visited in this way.

It has a source of 162 at present, and it is called a hot spring resort with an abundance of hot water in North Kanto.
